Pendant lighting fixtures are applied directly on the finish ceiling and hang down to various lengths to bring the target illumination down to human scale. These products would be typically used where there is no recessed depth (other than the electrical junction box) due to structural or mechanical impacts. Most pendant fixtures are decorative in nature with selection and stem lengths determined by the interior designer. LED candelabra lamps are most prevalent in these fixtures.
